Social Media Specialist

Megan Hoel joined Communities In Schools in April 2015 and assumed the role of Social Media Specialist in September 2015. Megan is a Northern Virginia native and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations and minor in communication studies from West Virginia University. Prior to Communities In Schools, she worked as a Media and Communications Intern for Special Olympics Australia while temporarily living in Sydney, Australia. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, brunching and spending time with her family, friends and goldendoodle, Scout.
