Community Chats

Community Chat is a Facebook LIVE conversation series that features one-on-one interviews with thought-leaders within the CIS Network, as well as experts across the research, policy, and nonprofit sector. Community Chats air every 3rd week of the month on Thursdays. Our eleventh episode, featured Congressman Joaquin Castro as he and CIS National President and CEO, Rey Saldaña, discussed their educational journeys as immigrant youth and how they are now working to create opportunities for all children to thrive and experience a quality education.
