Communities In Schools (CIS), the national organization dedicated to supporting low-income students in schools and helping them achieve in life, today welcomes four new members to the CIS National Board of Directors. New members include Jerry Croan, senior fellow, Third Sector Capital Partners, Inc., Kimberly Davis, senior managing director with Teneo Diversity & Inclusion, former U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, Managing Partner, Emerson Collective and Pascal Fernandez, senior vice president of Altria Client Services.

Gerald (Jerry) Croan
Jerry Croan is currently a Senior Fellow with Third Sector Capital Partners, Inc., where he advises on Social Innovation Financing and Pay For Success program development. Mr. Croan also serves as President of the National Learning Institute, which provides strategic advisory services to non-profits. Full bio.
Kim Davis is a Senior Managing Director and the founder of Teneo Diversity & Inclusion. During her over 30 years in the financial services industry, Ms. Davis served in wide range of line and staff leadership roles, including: Director of Recruiting, Training & Development for Global Banking; Human Resources Executive for Latin America; Global Director of Leadership Development; and Talent Management and National Sales Manager for Private Banking. As managing partner at Emerson Collective, former U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan returns to Chicago on a mission to improve the lives of young adults in his hometown. Through partnerships with local business leaders, community organizers, and nonprofit groups, Duncan aims to create job and life opportunities for disconnected youth between the ages of 17 and 24. Pascal A. Fernandez
Pascal A. Fernandez serves as Senior Vice President, Consumer and Marketplace Insights for Altria Client Services, which provides professional services and support to Altria Group and its operating companies. He has held this position since 2012. Full bio.
