The Glue That Holds It All Together

Communities In Schools of Lakewood

All In For Students Award Recipient 2013: The award is presented to site coordinators who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to students. With acts of love and transformation, these Heroes are the best at what they do.

According to a colleague, Livingston is the “glue that holds things together.” Whether she is building a strong mentoring program, creating a music program to fill the void left by funding cuts or incorporating service projects into her students’ work, Livingston shows the students at Tillicum Elementary School that there are always ways to help others. Look no further than a recent Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fundraiser started by Livingston – the student population raised more than $850 and turned down a celebratory pizza party because donating to such a worthy cause was enough of a reward.
