He is an accomplished executive with a successful record of building, transforming and leading teams in non-profit and for-profit environments. Reed provides strategic direction for CIS' Advancement organization in his current role. They worked with the AM Law 100 and corporate general counsels on complex, multi-jurisdictional cases. Reed designed the organization's best practices, led all recruiting, and collaborated in the creation and execution of new revenue acquisition programs through advertising campaigns and direct sales programs.

Reed has a Foreign Affairs and Latin American Studies degree from the University of Virginia. He lived in Mexico as a Rotary International exchange student in high school. Reed and his wife, Pat, live in Virginia and have four grown children.
