Communities In Schools Honored by Corporate Partner Goodera with the Global Reach and Local Leadership Award

Communities In Schools® (CIS®), the nation’s leading provider of K-12 school-based integrated student supports, has been named winner of the Global Reach and Local Leadership Award at the 2026 Goodera Global Volunteering Summit.
Presented as part of Goodera’s Nonprofit Awards, the recognition honors outstanding nonprofit partners whose collaboration has translated corporate intent into real, measurable change within local communities. The awards were announced on Feb. 25 during the summit.
According to Goodera, the award celebrates organizations that bring deep community insight, co-design meaningful programs, and ensure that volunteer efforts contribute to outcomes that truly matter. Through trust, transparency, and shared accountability, Goodera’s nonprofit partners help mobilize transformative impact across causes and geographies.
Communities In Schools and Goodera partner to drive corporate social responsibility (CSR) and student success, recently collaborating on initiatives such as the Ready, Set, Learn back-to-school tour. Through Goodera’s employee volunteering platform, companies and their teams participate in hands-on activities that directly benefit students supported by Communities In Schools. For example, volunteers have assembled school supply kits for students to help remove barriers to attendance and address chronic absenteeism.
