Restorative Practices Help Two Friends Repair a Strained Relationship

“I believe doing restorative work between students is an important step into students learning to forgive,” said CIS of Chicago Senior Student Supports Manager Juanita Herrera. “Forgiveness is not just needed for the other person, but for yourself. Learning to forgive others helps build character and helps free yourself from any anger.”

CIS of Pennsylvania and York College Team Up to Create College Pathways

Communities In Schools of Pennsylvania (CISPA) activated an innovative partnership with York College eight years ago that targets younger students, connecting them with mentors and helping them gain exposure to the college experience.
