Public education has systemic flaws that have tragic outcomes for the lives of Black, Brown, and Indigenous students, and students who are living in poverty.
We are calling on everyone to shift the conversation to focus on:
- Student reengagement,
- Equitable learning environments, and
- Welcoming school climates that benefit all students.

Our goal is simple. Put students at the center. Surround them with a caring community of support. And create access to critical resources, like food, housing, healthcare, counseling and remote technologies so they can take charge of the future they want for themselves, their communities, and each other.
