Ariana Ellis

Class of 2021, CIS of Atlanta

CIS Alumna Ariana Ellis

Meet Ariana Ellis, a proud Communities In Schools of Atlanta alum and member of our new Alumni Advisory Council.

Ariana graduated high school in 2021 and now brings her lived experience, perspective, and passion for community to this next chapter of CIS alumni engagement.

What do you hope to accomplish in the next 5 years?

Over the next five years, I aim to grow into a career in mental health and behavioral health, particularly working with justice-involved populations. I want to become a licensed mental health professional and use my education and experiences to help people navigate difficult circumstances and create meaningful change in their lives. I also hope to continue developing as a leader within my community and creating opportunities for young people and CIS alumni. Most importantly, I want to build a career and life that allows me to serve others while continuing to grow personally and professionally.

What does the future of CIS alumni look like?

The future of CIS alumni is continued connection, collaboration, and impact. Our CIS journey does not end at graduation—it becomes a foundation for the relationships, opportunities, and communities we continue to build.
