Jessy Cuddy

Jessy Cuddy serves as the Vice President of Learning and Practice at the Communities In Schools® (CIS®) National Office. Since joining CIS in 2015, she has held several key roles dedicated to advancing the fidelity and quality of the CIS model of integrated student supports. In her current role, Jessy drives the organization’s Learning & Development Agenda, overseeing the development and execution of a shared learning strategy to enhance model implementation across the affiliate network. She leads the team responsible for creating the resources, trainings, and programmatic partnerships that deepen practitioner expertise and build organizational capacity.

Prior to CIS, Jessy spent seven years at Save the Children overseeing education and disaster recovery programming in rural and crisis-affected communities. She holds a master’s in social work from Tulane University with certifications in Disaster Mental Health and International Social Work, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in education policy and leadership from American University. Jessy is an active leader in her local community, having served as a commissioner and chair of the Alexandria Children, Youth, and Families Collaborative Commission from 2020–2024. She lives in Alexandria, VA, with her family.
