Jillian Manus

Jillian Manus is Managing Partner of an early-stage Silicon Valley venture fund, Structure Capital and U.S Venture Advisor for the European Innovation Council.  EIC is Europe’s largest deep tech innovation fund of £10b. She also teaches Hacking For Defense at Stanford U Business School. 

One of her priorities is the deployment of capital to dual use technology as the EU commission has allocated €800b to ReArm Europe. Ms. Manus was named one of the top 25 early-stage Female Investors by Business Insider. She is a global public speaker and TV commentator for numerous media platforms including CNBC, Bloomberg, Sky and CNN. She co-hosts the business podcast “The Pitch."

Ms. Manus attended The University of Oxford and New York University, where she served as a Trustee. Manus serves on both corporate and non-profit boards, including: Stanford University School of Medicine Board of Fellows, NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center Board of Directors, NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Communities in Schools. Prior to Structure Capital, Ms. Manus served as Co-Director of TMT for Credit Suisse Zurich and Associate Publisher of the national tech publication Upside, reporting on the financial strategies of the technology industry. She has also held leadership positions in the media industry.

Above all, Ms. Manus considers herself an Innovation Diplomat with the mission to reduce conflict and deepen alliances between countries by fostering investment into global innovation engines.
