Dr. Kevin Leary serves as Senior Director of Research and Evaluation at the Communities In Schools National Office, where he leads the organization's research, evaluation, and assessment efforts. In this role, he sets the national research agenda, oversees internal and external evaluations, and ensures that data and evidence inform strategy, strengthen practice, and improve outcomes for students, schools, and communities. 

With more than 15 years of experience in youth development research and education evaluation, Dr. Leary brings expertise in program evaluation, mixed-methods research, implementation science, and impact measurement. His work is grounded in a commitment to equity and expanding opportunity for young people through rigorous, evidence-informed decision-making. 

Dr. Leary holds a master's degree from Wake Forest University and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from North Carolina State University.
