As Vice President of District and Community Engagement at Communities In Schools, Huang leads training and technical assistance on integrated student supports for local affiliates and communities nationwide.
Prior to CIS, Huang provided strategic consulting to federal agencies at Corner Alliance, managed leadership development programs at the Council for Excellence in Government and the Partnership for Public Service, and served on the founding team of Big City Emergency Managers (BCEM) — a nonprofit representing emergency managers from the 15 largest U.S. metropolitan areas. He has also reviewed grants for the U.S. Department of Education and the DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation.
Huang holds a master's degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Budget and Public Finance from George Washington University and a bachelor's degree in Government from Claremont McKenna College.
